Someone busted my driver side window and stole my zune out of my car. It is not covered under my auto insurance and does not meet the deductible on my homeowners insurance. Any ideas on the cheapest way to replace it? I’m looking for something in the cheap range with at least 16GB of storage. It does not have to be a Zune. I’m open to all reliable brands. Thanks!

Fist off, what is your price range? I would have to say the most reliable music player would have to be an Apple iPod. The Nano has 16gb but it runs at $199.99. I don’t know your price range so you may want to go with a cheaper brand of music player. It’s up to you but I prefer iPods.

I would definitely recommend Apple iPods over everything else. They work great, the sound quality is excellent, esp. with the supplied Apple earbuds and they look fantastic. I’ve owned the 2nd gen Shuffle and it was great, had hundreds of songs on it, clips on your shirt or anywhere, as well as a 3rd gen Nano which was excellent for music, TV shows and movies, games, etc all of which you can get from the iTunes store of course. Now I have a 1st gen iPhone and it’s loaded and it has all of the features of the other iPods plus more, etc. That in itself is another 500 word posting. Getting back to your situation, If you are on a budget you might go with a refurb from the Apple store website or you can find a used one on eBay or Craigslist. Also, you can still purchase a NEW 2nd gen iPod Shuffle from Apple. Here is the link:http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/sh…
